Ohsho!

after some serious persuasion n island-wide ramen hunting on Monday,
i was persuaded to try out Ohsho at Cuppage Terrace, further down from Orchard Point.
heh. thanks for the recommendation!

Ohsho is located at at the right side of the outdoor foodcourt at Cuppage,
at the entrance Cuppage shopping Centre, next to the chinese zichar stall.
it is an open small stall, selling ramen and gyoza. with free flow of iced water.
opens till 2am, good for post-clubbing hunger pangs.

i had the tamago ramen ($10).
there was a hard boiled egg, with a semi-liquid orange yolk, which was soft and delicious.
there were 2 slices of char siew, which was pretty okay.
the soup was shoyu (soya sauce) based, brewed out of pork bones for hours.

the result:
a big bowl of ramen, in rich pork bone soup, topped with a delicious egg and char siew.
very satisfying on a cold rainy nite.

other than tamago ramen, they have the usual char siew ramen, chinese cabbage ramen and various gyoza snacks.
however, do be prepared to wait for at least 15 mins for a seat during 7-9pm..
but, the ramen comes pretty fast after you have placed your orders =)
